Two layers of overlapping colours create different hues as the bowl casts its colourful shadow upon its setting. The light and vivid colours reflect the springtime flora and fauna of the highlands when the colours burst through the darkness of winter.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMade from two layers of hand-cut coloured glass strips, slightly offset to each other, this bowl starts life as a square.  For the first firing, the two layers are fused together to create a single pieces that is then cut into a circle.  The circle is then placed back into the kiln a final time to form into the mould.  The piece is then cold-worked to produce the flat and soft matt finish to the rim and edges.  The underneath of the bowl has not been cold-worked and retains the texture from the mould.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBowl Dimensions: 15\" (38cm) diameter and 5\" (13cm)\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis bowl is perfect for display and brings light and colour into any room.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis bowl is made with decorative glass and does not contain lead.
