Coasters, Araby, Multi-Color Large Squares (Set of 4)

These Araby coasters are created with layers of square pieces of glass.  Up to sixteen different colors are sometimes used in one piece that reflect the changing tones of the surrounding hills and mountains and the flora and fauna found in the area.

The texture is even so glasses and cups are stable when placed on the coaster.  Each coaster has protective bumps underneath that prevent sliding on smooth surfaces.  There are four coasters in a set.

Each coaster measures approx. 10cm x 10cm, (4"x4").

Each coaster is made from individually hand-cut pieces of glass that are layered on a single base piece of glass.  The random placement and use of colors ensures each set of coasters is unique.  The pictures show representations of the designs. The assembled glass pieces are then kiln-fused up to a temperature of 1450F to create a single piece of glass. 

This great coaster is food safe.  However, do not place the glass in a microwave or a dishwasher as this will dull the glass, hand wash only with a mild soap solution.
