Fused glass portrait of a Highland Cow. This is a bright, colorful and fun piece of a "hairy coo," as they say around here!
The portrait measures approx. 25cm x 25cm, (10" x 10") and is made from strips of hand-cut pieces of glass laid on a single piece of sheet glass. The pieces are layered that help give a little depth to the picture. The glass is fired at a lower temperature in the kiln that gives the final finish a textured feel and the shaggy look of a hairy cow.
Note that each portrait is unique, no two the same, so the pictures below are examples only.
The portrait comes mounted in a 12" shadow box square frame in a white acrylic material, measuring 11" x 11" (29cm x 29cm) and 2" (5cm) deep.
