This Obama portrait forms part of a small collection highlighting qualities of leadership. This portrait is titled "Hope" and the word can be seen in the bottom right of the picture. I wanted to develop a series of portraits focused on aspects of leadership and those leaders who throughout their lives, both past and present, I feel consistently demonstrated those qualities. A core belief of Obama's presidency was the idea of hope, for the future, and for our humanity to each other. He continues today to inspire hope and positivity for a better future - a truly American characteristic - David
