Small Bowl, Glen Lights, Rainbows

If you like rainbows, then why not have four in one bowl!  This beautiful small rainbow bowl casts a warm glow when in the path of natural light. 

Made from two layers of hand-cut coloured glass, slightly offset to each other, this bowl starts life as a square.  After the first firing it is then cut into a circle and then cut into four pieces and rearranged into the final pattern.  The piece is then refired into a single piece, before going into the kiln a final time to form into the mould.  The piece is then cold-worked to produce the soft matt finish to the rim and soft edges.

Bowl Dimensions: 8.25" (21cm) diameter and 1.5" (4cm) high

Although small, this bowl is perfect for display and brings light and rainbows into your room.
