Small Plate, Raindrop, Red, Blue

This plate has a flavour of mid-century modern with the lines and bubbles, but also a fun element playing on the optical bends to the lines by the placement of the glass pieces, just like raindrops!  The plate is made with a single piece of clear glass to which lines of coloured stringers are added.  Then squares of coloured transparent glass are laid on top of the stringers in an alternating pattern that give the light-bending, raindrop effect. 

The plate measures approx. 12.5cm x 12.5cm (5" x 5")

This plate would make a great gift for any occasion and looks good in any room or table setting.

This bright and colourful plate is food safe.  However, do not place the glass in a microwave or a dishwasher as this dulls the glass, hand wash only in a mild soap solution.
